Account & Profile

Do I need an account to browse eggnogs?

No! You can browse eggnogs, read reviews, and view recipes without an account. However, you'll need to sign up to log tastings, write reviews, save favorites, or submit new brands.

How do I verify my email?

After registering, we'll send a verification email to the address you provided. Click the link in that email to verify your account. If you didn't receive it, check your spam folder or request a new verification email from your profile settings.

Can I change my username?

Yes, you can update your username from your profile page. Note that usernames must be unique.

Logging & Reviews

What's the difference between a log and a review?

A log is your personal record of trying an eggnog—it can be quick and simple. A review is more detailed and public, helping other users discover great eggnogs.

How is the star rating calculated?

Brand ratings are calculated as the average of all user ratings, weighted slightly toward more recent reviews.

Brands & Submissions

How do I add a new eggnog brand?

If you can't find an eggnog in our database:

  1. Go to Submit Brand in the navigation
  2. Fill out the brand information
  3. Submit for review

Our team reviews submissions to ensure accuracy before they're published.

Why was my brand submission rejected?

Submissions may be rejected if:

  • The brand already exists in our database
  • Information is incomplete or inaccurate
  • The product isn't actually eggnog
  • It violates our community guidelines

How long does brand review take?

Most submissions are reviewed within 24-48 hours during the holiday season. Off-season reviews may take a bit longer.

Is my data shared with third parties?

Can I delete my account?

Yes, contact us through the support form to request account deletion. We'll remove your account and associated data within 30 days.
